1. Gardner Fox, did a lot of comics for Justice Society of America that this character are based on, and he was the one to introduce the concept of multiverse to comics with the “Flash of two worlds!”

2. to be fair, there are tons of characters like that back in the golden age: kids without powers who arent super heroes who hang out with super heroes. rick jones, snapper carr, etc etc

3. Love the dream idea of another Universe

4. Original the writers want to use golden age DC characters like Wildcat, Black Canary, Golden Age Atom, Jay Garrick, Allen Scott.
