Is There a Guide for When to Boost?

I’ve been looking to boost but I’m worried I won’t get the timing right and will have wasted it. Wondering of anyone knows how best to do it?
For TV series, I know they release the poll on YouTube when they are 8 episodes away from completing the series but when do they actually decide what is going on the poll. Is it a week before they post on YouTube – 2 weeks or maybe or even 3 weeks? I think the next poll due is for Solo Levelling in a few weeks. Is it too late to boost for that one?
I’m even less sure for movies. For example, Halloween is coming up and they tend to react to films that make sense for that time of year, but do I boost my Halloween choice now or at the start of October or will that be too late? I’ve also noticed they do theme polls throughout the year, so animation for this poll or spy/thriller on this one. I feel like I can boost a movie, but it’s not got a chance of making it on any polls because it doesn’t fit the themes they have gone with for that month.
So yeah, just checking if anyone has a better idea on how boosting works?
