Hey Everyone,
Not sure if I should be asking this here and not in the general section, but here we go! I’ve only really actively used the site for watching anime reactions but as of yesterday I’ve been using it more. I was wondering if there’s a specific reason why there’s only video for two of the podcasts (Relatively old) and why the newest ones are only uploaded in audio. Might just be missing something, but thought it was worth asking.

I keep getting spammed with ‘wink updates’ or at least whenever I get one it just repeats the same message filling up the side of my screen and I have to close each one manually. A little bit annoying!
I also had a strange issue with the Winks, where the Winks counter at the top showed the current number, but there was another number above it? Sometimes it was the same number and other times it was the number just earned. Today the issue seems to have been resolved, so I think there’s a bunch of kinks that just need to be ironed out.
I’m not sure whether this is an issue on my end or not. But since the update whenever I like a video I get 5 winks. However, when I go to the starting page after it, it seems that there’s no winks added to my total. So for example before watching Nosferatu today I had 570, after liking I had 575, but going back to the main page tracked it back to 570.
The overlaying notifications is gone thankfully but I’m still seeing that +5 winks when liking a video only for it to disappear when I refresh or go to another page.
New issue, I surpassed 1000 winks but I’m still only Level 2? Is there some other requirement for Level 3 that’s not stated?
I’d like to turn off the winks notification completely, if possible. I hate popups, and the winks daily login notification makes me want to visit the site less actually. I’d even prefer turning winks off completely for my account if that’s the only way to get rid of that popup.
I personally like a minimalist website. So if possible, I’d also like to opt out of the huge welcome banner on the front page, the trending videos and all that. I just want to get to the shows / parts of the website that I am actively here for (content library for the daily release that I’m looking for).
Hopefully there will be an option to turn individual settings off. But primarely the wink notification.And one last feedback from me: I gave it a long time but I still prefer for anime reactions the old way of having the reaction part of the video on the same page as the discussion part, just under the video. The website is kind of slow when it comes to clicking the reaction button, waiting for it reload the page, and then after the reaction, clicking it again and waiting for the discussion to reload, while also resetting the discussion video timer. Or I have to work with an extra tab for the reaction. I don’t know, it just feels more cumbersome than the old website.
Wait until you get to 1200 Winks. That’s when I got my ‘Level 3’ despite the fact that it says 1000 winks so I’m not sure what’s up with that. A friend of mine mentioned something similar that he didn’t get Level 3 until a few more days later which would have been around the 1200 mark I suspect. Not sure that’s somehow intended or some sort of bug but that’s probably the case.
