1. The series is centered, solely, on War Dogs. When I realized that after the 2nd episode, I was like, “Ohhh! Now I see why it’s called ‘Eyes of Wakanda.’ Duh.” It’s not about Black Panther nor the Dora Milaje, although they make appearances. It’s a group of people that I never thought about seeing stories about them. It’s the stories I never knew I needed.

2. Yes, Fiege has confirmed multiple times that the NF Marvel shows are all canon, when “Daredevil Born Again” was announced (and after). So, it’s been assumed that they will all be coming back. Punisher was the first to be shown and they were filming Kristen Ritter as Jessica. I thought she might make an appearance in the 1st season but most likely in the 2nd season. I hope all the Defenders show up in the 2nd season, at least to make an appearance. I feel that’s why they wanted to do an Iron Fist story, to remind people who saw the NF show and to introduce the character to those who didn’t watch those shows, because they plan on doing something more substantial with the character in the future. It also makes sense why the animation looked a lot like the live-action effect.
