  1. I’m with the people that say clairvoyance, or some kind of super enhanced anticipation. There could be more to it though, like some of the other powers in this verse. My hope is that every time he glimpses into the future he gets a Benjamin Button effect and ages backwards like a week or somethin’, so he has to use it in moderation (kinda like Monster Girl from Invincible). Just a thought.

  2. I think he is Goldokin and either a body swap ability or Clarevoience. It is also interesting that he doesn’t look like he has aged. so as we have only seen the original two super heroes (those given it while adults) be truly ageless and immortal it would be very interesting.

  3. I agree, I think he’s either Godolkin OR a descendant of some sort. Sidenote: The mimic’s power is OP [even at only 60secs] Leveled up I assume [like others with this power] she’ll be able to either hold more than 1 at a time, or hold for much longer [or both.] Having her on their side will be INVAULABLE. Especially in teaching Marie how to use her powers better. They mentioned [more than once] “understanding their powers is the key to getting stronger” then she shows up? Not a coincidence, IMO.

  4. My guess is that his power allows him to see through other people’s eyes, which would enable him to track every student at all times. Plus, that would explain how he grabbed Cate’s arm without looking. My theory stemmed from a line he had in episode 2, where he said, “I’ll be monitoring you all closely over the year, and believe me, there’s not much I don’t see.”

  5. I think his power is the power of friendship. He brought the team back together, he has “a way of redirecting efforts” as calvin put it, and he is so likable even though hes so evil.

  6. Maybe it’s like the eye from Alien Earth?! Something is wearing him like a skin suit? Could explain the weird blender-shake he was making and why he didn’t want Cate to read his mind? It probably wants to train the most powerful Sup and then inhabit them….

  7. Is it possible cipher and Tek knight are related tek knight’s powers was the ability to solve mysteries and deciphering is sorta in the same category so maybe he’s trying to avenge him?

  8. I have no strong ideas at all on what cipher can do or who he really is. My thoughts lead me to the possibility of some kind of glimpses into the future if your theory is right on cipher being godolkin. I’m led to that through the opening scene of the season where godolkin rushes into the lab, even though he could easily have been told by someone what the group were about to do, he could have seen it but he hadn’t mastered that power yet and perhaps his exposure to the blood of the others somehow unlocked another power where he can manipulate his age and appearance as well? (Or any other number of possibilities like slower ageing, got powers to see the future after the incident and was told by someone else and the age came with it etc). As I’m writing this now I could see it being similar to My Hero Academias portrayal with sir nighteye. Being able to see glimpses and interpret them with varying levels of success but with experience narrowing the fail margin. He could also just as easily be a ballsack that gained sentience, who knows with this show at this point 😅😅
