This is my favorite episode from season 2. I love how it kind of echos the French Resistance during WW2. The animation is gorgeous! I wish they would have made more for this story.
If they did continue this story and had the ‘father’ still alive, I think it would be even more interesting to have a Silco-esque take on it, rather than him not actually caring about the son. It would add an interesting dynamic to have the older officer genuinely believe in the Empire, but also having grown to genuinely care about his ‘son’, too.
