2. Jake, they said in episode 1 that the bar for getting into the Good Place is really high, and everyone else goes to the Bad Place. The reason Mindy got the Medium Place is because of the debate over whether she was eligible for the points, not that it somehow balanced to 0. If she had survived long enough to set up the foundation herself, the points would have gotten her into the Good Place.

   Also, this isn’t the entire Good Place, this is one neighborhood within it. There is only one Good Place, and it has very exclusive entry requirements.
