1. this episode is where i realized how special this show was gonna be. It really takes a huge turn away from the hyper action revenge story that initially hooked me in, and is able to demonstrate how the horrors of oppression, war, and slavery often impacted the individual’s life at that time. i’m so happy that you guys decided to keep going with it, even though some of you weren’t really all that impressed with the first season. From here on out the show really becomes something extraordinary, and i sincerely hope y’all come to love it as much as i do.
